One of
the most exciting developments in the capital in recent months has been
the steady growth of a movement supporting the struggle for a free
Palestine. Hardly a week has gone by when the Israeli embassy hasn't
been picketed, or when a rally or march hasn't taken place somewhere in
the city.
One
rally in Cuba Mall drew well over 200 people, and a newly formed
activist group on Victoria Campus, Students for Justice in Palestine,
has worked hard at raising awareness of the issue and building a
movement for Palestine.
