Come and join the discussion about the private vs public value of education, the history of fee rises and of student opposition to fees.
The University Council will meet on November
13, when most students are safely out of town, to set fees for next year. After
twenty years of year on year fee rises, another fee increase will surprise
no-one although it will impose yet another burden onto the backs of students
throughout our working lives. Is there any end in sight to this death by a
thousand cuts and if not, what can we do to stop the fee rises and win back
free education?
Come and join the discussion about the private
vs public value of education, the history of fee rises and of student opposition
to fees.
